Oh hello magical basics!
What a crazy time is has been for me lately. When I started season 3 never did, I think it would grow to what it became. I didn’t think I’d meet so many lovely people and form so many friendships! I’m so thankful for each one of you listening. This week is our last episode with a guest for season three. Next week will be a recap episode with me and Jonathan just so we can talk about what we learned from season 3 and what y’all can expect for what is coming in season four! Let’s dive into the Bibbidi Bobbidi Broadcast first!
Let’s start in WDW, Minnie vans are coming back! If you are unfamiliar with this service, Minnie Vans offer guests with a unique way to get around Disney World property. The Minnie Vans work with the Lyft app. All you’ll need to do is open the Lyft app and request a ride specifically for a Minnie Van. The drivers of the Minnie Van vehicles are actually Disney Cast Members who have been trained to get you where you need to go. Each vehicle comes equipped with 2 child safety seats. Prices can vary depending on distance traveled. You’ll be able to see that total cost and pay for it through the Lyft app.
I’m insanely excited about this news story! The Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue is returning! I have such good memories of delicious food and laughs of this show from when I was a kid. I highly recommend you check it out on your next Disney trip!
EPCOT’s Food & Wine is returning and we have this year’s dates! The festival will start on July 14thand run until November 19th.
Traditional meet and greets are returning to WDW, DL, DCL, and Aulani on April 18th! I am so excited about hugging Mickey and friends again!
The new Guardians of the Galaxy ride has an official opening date. The brand-new coaster will be opening on May 27th with cast member and annual passholder previews already starting.
Disney has announced that it will be opening a new affordable neighborhood on their property. It is still in the early stages of planning, but it is projected to take up 80 acres and hold more than 1300 units.
Let’s move on to Disneyland now. Hyperspace Mountain will open at Disneyland on April 29th. This will be a limited run of the popular Star Wars ride so hurry to Disneyland before it’s gone.
A new Encanto themed light show has arrived at Disneyland. April 11th saw the first of limited run show that is projected on the façade of It’s A Small World.
Lastly, moving to Disneyland Tokyo. The new Toy Story Resort is now open! The resort opened on April 5th and has the cutest theming. When you arrive at this moderate tiered resort it feels like you’ve been shrunken down to toy size. Andy has designed and built this hotel so that his toys can stay and play while he is away at cowboy camp.
